Grendel (also called the Monster) is an ultra-demon of the highest order, in level with Ramuthra and other leaders of the Demon side during the Wars of Liberation in Fedeledland. Grendel was a very important leader during the times of the Demon Liberation and Demon Control times, yet Ramuthra controlled him. He was one of the main causes of the wounding of Ramuthra when he tried to rebel just before Stórrekkr the Great defeated him and all other Fedeledlandese demons.
